Kerbeck Night Mystery

Black mare, foaled 1988

Sire: Uldale Black Raven, Dam: Townend Princess II

Mystery was my first pony, and I part owned her with Mary Dodd of Kerbeck stud, though was allowed to treat her as my own. Mystery had been a broodmare all her life, and then my Mum asked Christine if she had any ponies that might suit me. So Mystery was brought down to the farm, with her foal Kerbeck Night Sapphire still at foot. Mystery hadn't been ridden for years, and Christine rode her back down to the farm bareback! On Christmas morning at the farm I saw a lovely sight, a fell pony mare with a white checked rug on, decorated with tinsel and wrapping paper bows! This was the start of many great times with Mystery; from fun hacks; to showing and falling off during XC at Linnel Wood! (We managed to get round in one piece the next year!) I am grateful to Mystery as I am sure it was her who taught me how to have a 'velcro bum', and I now own her lovely daughter Kerbeck Night Princess. Mystery is now on loan to the Messenger family and has very done well in all sorts of activities with them.

Lotuspoint Hercules

Black shetland pony gelding, foaled 2002.

Sire: Gletness Summary, Dam: Quhamm of Quendale

I purchased Hercules when he was just 5 months old, he was a big strong well grown colt and his Mum was getting rather sick of him! Hercules was bought with the intention of being my driving pony; but one of my friends (where I worked at the time) begged me to sell Hercules to her, to be a riding pony for her little girl. To cut a long story short, Hercules was sold due to financial issues, ending up at a local dealers. He was lucky enough to find a good home with a local family; and he now only lives 10 minutes away from me, and I have been to visit him.

Stennerskeugh Donna IV

Grey fell mare foaled 2002, approx 13.2hh

Sire: Lunesdale Tarquin, Dam: Stennerskeugh Donna II

I bought Donna from the Lunesdale stud, who were very kind to give me the opportunity to purchase this super mare. Donna was bought with the intention of becoming one of my broodmares, but sadly she turned out to not be in foal. Donna was always a very shy pony and although quite quiet at first, once she found her feet she could be a little madam at times; especially when there was summer grass about! Donna doesn't have a bad bone in her body, and I had hoped she would be suitable for myself but as it turned out she needed a more experienced owner. Donna now lives with Christine Robinson of Kerbeck stud, and ran with the stallion Townend Huey last year. She produced her first foal in 2008, a grey colt named Kerbeck Smoke N Fire, who has been exported to Denmark.
