Dentview Fell Ponies

Hades Hill Patience
        Sire: Sleddale Bertie, Dam: Hades Hill Pansy II.
       Brown mare foaled 1987, approx 13hh.

Patience is the latest addition to Dentview fell pony stud and is jointly owned by myself and my partner Barry Norman. She came to us at the end of August 2008 when the stud moved to Gosforth, Cumbria. 
It is hoped that Patience will be a good foundation broodmare for the stud along with Princess, and she will hopefully produce some nice foals for us. Patience is very much the old traditional type of pony, stocky and sturdy with a sweet kind face and more mane and tail that you can shake a stick at! It is rare that you see her canter, she moves at the true fell pace of trot if she has to get anywhere fast! She has good old bloodlines, some of which are rarely seen nowadays. Although a shy pony Patience is very kind natured, being good to handle. She loves nothing more than wandering over to see us for a bit of bread.
