Sire: Townend Huey, Dam: Kerbeck Night Princess.

 

Joker is an all back colt with good conformation and lovely flowing movement. He has a nice inquisitive nature typical of ‘Townend Huey’ foals, and has inherited his dam’s ‘zest for life.’ He is fully registered and passported.

Joker is from a successful show, performance and general ‘fun pony’ family. His pedigree is littered with well known show and performance names. In the right hands Joker could go far in any sphere, he deserves to have his full potential realised.

Some information on Joker’s ‘family’

 

His Dam Kerbeck Night Princess is a successful broodmare, producing 5 quality foals. She is a fun ridden pony and has been lightly shown, rarely coming home without a rosette. She also enjoys jumping and pleasure rides.

His sire Townend Huey is a lovely natured pony, who is broken to ride and drive, snigs timber and has even harrowed the school; while also being successfully shown! Huey has been exported to the Czech Republic as a foundation sire.

Joker’s full sister Kerbeck Night Belle is a lovely stamp of pony, being broken to ride and enjoying showing, hunting and jumping.

His full brother Kerbeck Romany’s Fire is a good strong gelding, he was bought by a novice girl as a foal and is now a smashing safe riding pony; also being lightly shown.

Joker’s half sisters Kerbeck Night Destiny and Kerbeck Night Duchess are both top quality mares with excellent natures, both being shown with great success, and both are broken to ride and going well.

‘Uncle’ Kerbeck Diamond Fire is well known on the showing scene, in hand, ridden and as a working hunter pony. Diamond has also done endurance riding and XC.

‘Aunty’ Kerbeck Night Jewel is an excellent ridden mare, well known for her endurance riding talents; she has featured in the FPS points scheme.

‘Uncle’ Kerbeck Wildfire was exported to the USA and has sired ponies over there, as well as being broken to drive and competing at events.

‘Grandma’ Kerbeck Night Mystery is a true all-rounder, doing well in all spheres she is broken to ride and drive, enjoys her jumping and has been on a good few pony club teams. She has also tried some pleasure rides.

‘Grandad’ Firequest of Kerbeck is a quality pony, broken to ride and drive, having been shown successfully he is also a keen jumper he is now a firm favourite in a riding school nr Morecambe, Lancashire.

‘Great-Grandad’ Uldale Black Raven is a very well known endurance pony within the Fell Pony Society, regularly featuring in the FPS endurance scheme with owner Fiona Carradus.

‘Great-Grandma’ Townend Princess II was the foundation broodmare for the Kerbeck Stud, also working in the riding school which operated at the time. She enjoyed hunting, jumping, driving, showing, breeding and also RDA work.
